The association - Who we are

The International Association of Sound Massage Therapy e.V. (FV) was founded in May 1999 and sees itself first and foremost as the representation of interests for all those who work worldwide with the Peter Hess®-sound massage and the Peter Hess®-sound methods.

Our Task we see above all in supporting our members in their professional sound work through expert knowledge, networking and mentoring. Together with our members and our close cooperation partners – the Peter Hess® Institute and the more than 20 Peter Hess® Academies worldwide
 as well as Hess Sound Concepts – we carry the sounds into the world so that as many people as possible can experience their beneficial effects. Through quality assurance, projects and research, we also contribute to the further development and professionalization of the Peter Hess®-sound work.

We are the professional association of Peter Hess®-sound massage practitioners.

Since 2012 our association is Member of the umbrella organization for independent consulting and health promoting professions (=Free Health Professions/FG). Thus, we are committed to the FG’s high quality and ethical guidelines. Our members have the possibility to use the Extended Peter Hess®-You will receive a certificate with a professional designation. Accordingly, we also see ourselves as a professional association of Peter Hess®-Sound Massage Practitioners.

In addition, we are networked with associations of other complementary methods through the FG, so that together we can also exert an effective influence on a political level.
