Sound evening on January 8, 2026: Sound yoga for children with Tina Buch

Together, we will dive into the world of sound yoga for children. We begin with a sound-filled guided imagery journey, after which I will introduce you to the basic principles of working with two singing bowls in combination with children’s yoga. I will present a selection of gently dynamic movement sequences, breathing techniques and sensory awareness exercises, allowing you to feel and experience the concept directly.

I hope you will feel inspired and develop a desire to combine sound and children’s yoga even more effectively in your own work.

Tina Buch

is a qualified early years educator as well as a yoga, children’s yoga and sound yoga teacher, and has been working with children for over 30 years. For the past 20 years, she has been leading yoga and relaxation classes for children, and for around 10 years the healing sounds of singing bowls have also become an integral part of her work. She shares her experience of the special connection between sound and children’s yoga:

“After completing my sound yoga teacher training with Emily Hess, I felt a strong desire to make the unique combination of singing bowls and children’s yoga accessible to others. This led me to develop the concept Sound Yoga for Children, which I also present in my book of the same name (Klangyoga für Kinder, Verlag Peter Hess, 2025). In it, I show various ways in which sound and yoga can merge: through sound-rich guided imagery journeys, gently dynamic movement sequences, breathing techniques and mindful sensory awareness exercises.

My vision is to offer children an island of relaxation in their often overstimulating everyday lives – a space in which body, mind and soul can come to rest and recharge.”
